Hawaii Tide Pools

My friends and I took a little hike out to some wonderful tide pools, and just like any other visit to the pools it was magical.  The waves were crashing over the rock walls and the tide was swirling around our feet.  Such an excellent day to chill at the tide pools in Hawaii.

“Bright Shadows” is a photo series shot by Maui photographer Kevin Hoffman on Charley Young Beach, a south Maui beach with beautiful rock formations and epic sunsets.  The sunset photo series has three parts, first “The Sky”, then “Seagrass”, and the final part is “Ripple”. These photographs occurred over about a fifteen minute period on Mar. 31 2014, and this really proved to be one of the best sunsets that can bee seen at Charley Young.

West Maui Tide Pool

Laura and Cassie wanted to cruise West Maui back roads after we got done our Lanai dolphin cruise on the Pacific Whale Foundation boat (which was awesome). During our cruise, we stopped by some tide pools on the North Shore of West Maui, and took some pictures in these tide pools. These tide pools are incredible, teaming with aquatic life washed up in storms, and filtered constantly by the ocean water.
