Makena Wedding ~ Courtney and Dillon

Makena Wedding Photograph

What a beautiful Makena wedding with our good friends Courtney and Dillon. Energy filled the air as these two, with their baby by their side, got married with Makena’s waves crashing in the background. The sun was sinking in the sky when two families joined together in the park to watch Courtney and Dillon say their vows. Our pair had an ukulele and harp playing floating melodies in the evening air as a beautiful reception came together nearby. We were able to sneak off and get some pictures at Makena Beach as the sun sank into the hills. We had … Read More from Photographer on Maui…

Hana Photography

Waterfall photograph

We went on an amazing trip to Hana this week, and had an incredible time just riding around. I took quite a few pictures with the GoPro HERO4, and also some pics with a Sony NEX-7. Exploring the Road to Hana

"Canyon" on Maui

Our friends have returned to Maui, and we decided to show them a good time exploring the Road to Hana.  We wanted to really check out some things we had never seen before along the Road to Hana, and we found some epic scenes.  We found beautiful orchids, incredible Maui canyons, and coincidence worthy of a fireside tale.  In one trip to Hana, we have once again buried our pasts and improved the present by letting ourselves be taken in by the phenomenal wilderness. After our long trip around the Road to Hana, we finally arrived home in Kihei, and … Read More from Photographer on Maui…

Powerful Maui Sunset Photographs

Clouds Reflecting on Water

This gallery contains 3 photos.

Powerful Maui Sunset Photographs in Kihei and Wailea. These photographs were taken as the sun was approaching the horizon, during the golden hour. Two of these pictures were taken in Kihei, and the other (with the rocks) was taken in Wailea. These sunsets are a Maui photographer’s dream, and so many people gather every night to take in the sunset and photograph its final moments. These photos were all taken during the last week of February 2014 and March 2014.   “Ripples” Kihei Sunset by Photographer Kevin Hoffman
